The fact that Nikki’s first experience of the events industry came whilst she was working as a banqueting waitress at the Stakis Blackpool is a decent indication of how long ago it is, the hotel having become the Hilton a long time since.

Nikki worked in operations and event delivery before forging a sales career, eventually representing a regional cluster of hotels for prestigious firm, Principal Hayley.

Nikki’s 15 years in the sector have seen her building up a formidable contacts book, with many in her high-powered network now firmly considered as friends.

You will find Nikki heading up Naked Events’ Edinburgh office with both the reservations team and the family dog, Pip. She loves settling down to watch boxsets, long winter nights, walks along the beach and fun family time.

Anna bucked the student trend by rising early in her university days to help out the breakfast show at the local radio station. After travelling the world, she returned to the UK to work in marketing, first in Hull and then at the Queens Hotel in Leeds.

Falling in love with the industry and becoming a self-confessed ‘hotel geek’, Anna worked her way up to the role of director of sales for the Hanover International Group before striking out on her own and launching Naked Events. The company has been going strong for over ten years, joining forces with Nikki Banner in 2010.

Anna can be found at numerous gigs and festivals or relaxing in a luxuriant bath and spending time with Double D – Daisy Dog.
